Effective January 1, 2009, The Journal of Pastoral Care & Counseling became primarily an electronic journal which is published at the Online Journal Services website of The Public Knowledge Project of Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. You can see the front page of our location on that website at http://journals.sfu.ca/jpcp/.
Volume 63 (2009) was published online in two double issues –March-June (Issue 1-2) in August-November (Issue 3-4) in November. Print versions were circulated to those who asked for them the third week of January 2010 and the first week of March 2010.
Beginning with Volume 64 (2010) and forward, the publication schedule is as follows. Online publication in March, June, September, and December Print publication as double issues (March-June and
September-December) in July-August and January.
Archived issues for Vol. 63 (2009) forward are available for all current online subscribers at http://journals.sfu.ca/jpcp/.
Archived issues for 1968 through 2008 are also available for all current online subscribers. Many pre-1968 issues are already available and the online archive of the Journal of Pastoral Care (& Counseling) and of the Journal of Clinical Pastoral Work (which merged with JPC after publishing for 2 years) should be complete by mid-2012. Current subscribers are provided with the information which they need in order to access this archive.
NOTE: Print versions will be made available to Individual/Institutional subscribers who prefer this format through the end of 2015. During 2015 an assessment will be made concerning whether and how a print version of JPC&C will be provided beyond 2015.
Members of our sponsoring associations receive online access to The Journal of Pastoral Care & Counseling through their PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION as a member benefit. If you are a member of one of those associations and have problems with online access to JPC&C please contact the responsible person in those associations.
We prefer that all of our subscribers and supporting association members who prefer the print version take advantage of the opportunity to have online access also (at no extra cost) so that they will be ready for the final transition to paperless publication.
We do NOT offer a discount to subscription agencies/aggregators. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations submitted after March 15 for Calendar Year Subscriptions or by the comparable date for subscriptions bridging two years. There is no charge for shiping regardless of the destination.

If you are providing the subscription as a gift to a group of students, you can send a check for the total amount payable to JPCP Inc. at 1549 Clairmont Rd., Ste. 103, Decatur, GA, USA, 30033 -
with a cover letter which includes the name, postal address, and e-mail address for each student. JPCP Inc. will then enter the subscriptions - a process which will generate a notification e-mail to the student with a username+password.
