Rabbi Dr. Terry R. Bard D.D.: Managing Editor
Rabbi Dr. Terry R. Bard became the Managing Editor of the Journal of Pastoral Care Publications, Inc. on January 1, 2009 after serving as Associate Managing Editor for 16 months. Dr. Bard has been involved in developing new publishing opportunities consistent with JPCP Inc’s mission and will, in his new role, further the electronification of the manuscript review and publication process.
Throughout his career, Bard has published on a broad range of topics and has lectured nationally and internationally. At the end of December 2007 he retired from his responsibilities as chaplain and director of Pastoral Care and Education at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after 24 years of service. As a member of the faculty of psychiatry for over 30 years, Dr. Bard will continue to teach at Harvard Medical School and to provide direct care in his counseling practice in Newton, MA.
Dr. Bard, a Board Certified Chaplain of the National Association of Jewish Chaplains and of the Association of Professional Chaplains, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Massachusetts. |
